Mutual Publishing is one of the bigger and storied local publishers here in Hawaii. They offer and publish a wide variety of books from cookbooks spanning all islands, to vibrantly illustrated children’s books, to award-winning novels and intricately researched history books.  Whatever your preference, they probably have something to whet your reading appetite.

Hidden gem! This is a great spot for gifts for family and friends on the mainland, baby showers, birthdays, etc. They carry more titles than can be found at any store, and the offer discounts. We got 20% off our books when we visited. It’s so important to support local, and this is a great way to do that. Staff is super friendly which is a bonus. Parking in lot across the street or any of the municipal lots in the area.

Hard to find. You have to know it is here. Not visible from the street. Excellent source for local books especially children’s books. Local cook books. Well worth the effort to find it.
