  • Description

You don’t have to be on Maui long to see that the island’s favorite foods like Spam Musubi, Chicken Hekka, Fried Rice, Manapua and Shoyu Chicken have been influenced by the many cultures, nationalities and ethnic groups that have settled here. Inspired by the many cultures covered herein, the artwork accompanying the recipes was created by the youth. All the photos are of the Pa‘ia Youth & Cultural Center members preparing and enjoying their reactions.
