Hawaii’s Pets, featuring the photography of renowned animal photographer Deb McGuire with captions by Tim McGuire, captures our Hawaiian furry, feathered, and scaly ohana in their favorite places like our beaches, our parks, our pastures, and our homes. These cats, dogs, horses, cows, birds, rabbits, goats, pigs, and reptiles will have you “oohing” and “ahhing”—and laughing! Their wonderful energy and personalities burst from the pages. And, Deb provides tips to help you capture your own great pet photos. “We prefer to think of ourselves as having no need to evolve,” quips the stately turtle. “Aww, who wet the basket?” a perky puppy asks his brothers and sisters. “I wish you could remember where we hid that bone,” an older dog tells his best buddy as they trek across the rocks.
