About the Author

Beth Greenway and her Navy husband, Joe, lived in ‘Aiea for over thirteen years where they raised their three daughters. They are now retired in Oxford, Mississippi. Beth keeps her heart in touch with Hawai‘i through her children’s books which include: Hawai‘i’s Food Trucks on the Go, Waikiki Lullaby, and The Twelve Days of Hula.

About the Illustrator

Through whimsical imagery and engaging characters Jamie hopes to connect with her audience and inspire young and old to tell their own stories. She received her BFA and MFA in Illustration from California State University Long Beach, School of Art. Jamie currently works and lives in Lakewood, California with her husband and two dogs. She has illustrated six other children’s books for BeachHouse: Hawai‘i’s Food Trucks on the Go!, Down at the Beach, Noodles for Baby, 1-2-3 Saimin in Hawai‘i, Slippers in Hawai‘i, and Uncle’s Magic
